Chaotic Plane of The Divine

BEGINNINGS The first 29 years of my life were dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in hockey. I am now taking that same drive to be the best I can be as a Human Being and an Artist. I live in Minnesota, am 33, Queer and use pronouns She/Her/They. In 2022 I wanted a way to express myself freely. I created my instagram and landed on a name after reading about the realm where a Pisces resides: Chaotic Plane of The Divine. The phrase alludes to the spiritual nature of my work. INTENTION To create more joy, love, and beauty in the world. To follow the golden rule. I believe we are all connected and that when one person heals themself there is a ripple effect where we all benefit. My wish is to do as much as I can to help in the healing of the collective consciousness. PROCESS I enjoy taking an unusual approach and being aggressive with my work. I paint with my canvas on the floor. I use brushes but I also like to paint with my hands and sometimes use sandpaper to blend layers. I have put some of my paintings in the shower. I am exploring and do not have a set of rules for myself about what I can or cannot do. I believe anything is possible. MEDIUMS I have worked primarily with acrylic, paint markers, and oil pastels and I am excited to try different mediums in the future. VISION I have a dream to perform. I envision myself painting and dancing along to my own original music.
